Canadian-born Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah has surfaced a picture of herself pounding fufu with the native pestle and mortar on a National TV station in Ivory Coast.
Jackie had visited Ivory Coast for a tour and as a guest at the Cosmos Shopping Mall in Abidjan. She was interviewed on a national television concerning her acting career and plans on improving the industry.
She looked stunning in a powdered blue two piece suit and a white shirt as she pounds fufu. She shared the picture on her Instagram page and captioned it;
No suit will stop me from pounding fufu on the National tv station of Ivory Coast. I had sooo much fun.
The picture which immediately went viral has sparked many reactions with most expressing their love and respect for her. Some others applauded her, called her a true African woman who knows how to take care of her home and her husband’s tummy.
Many believe that only a few celebrities can actually do this and she did with a smile on her face. Her lovely outfit was styled by Bvey.
